Performance Nutrition for Lacrosse Players eBook
Gain the Advantage
What People Are Saying
“This is an excellent read and dietary instruction manual for lacrosse players at all levels. While lacrosse reigns as the “fastest sport on two feet”, it is also the fastest growing sport which has led to increased competition. As players go from recreation leagues to travel teams to high school, college and possibly beyond, the level of play becomes exponentially higher. In my experience, what set the All-American HS and College Players apart was how they managed their off-the-field activities. Their approach to weight-lifting, cardiovascular training and nutrition gave them significant advantages on the field.
Starting with some general recommendations for all athletes, Ms. Giles addresses and solves for what the lacrosse athlete’s body needs nutritionally given the rigorous go, rest, go nature of the game. This book also dispels many of the nutrition and supplement myths I have heard throughout my playing career and as a coach. I highly recommend this book.”
